Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities
Participate in month-end close process including preparation of journal entries, forecast variance explanations and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information
Collaborate with various department management to support overall goals and objectives
Communicate with various levels of the organizations regarding current accounting processes
Maintain and develop financial models and analyze data to assist in the financial close and provide analysis of actual results.
Provide support for external and internal audits, SOX as well as regulatory examinations.
Support Management with various ad hoc projects
Create and update financial system report
Qualifications
Accounting or Finance Degree
3 years accounting experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to learn quickly
Desire to assume more responsibility
Experience with Excel functions such as (sumifs, vlookups, and pivot tables)
Experience with setting up or maintaining Access Databases
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials or other ERP systems
Experience with retrieving information from multiple subledgers
Experience with the following reporting tools: Essbase, nVision, PeopleSoft Query
