Expert core knowledge in Java, threading, blocking and nonblocking IO (NIO), Maven, and Git.
Troubleshooting problems involving multithreading or memory management using tools such as VisualVM or YourKit.
Experience using Eclipse, Atlassian, toolset (JIRA).
Strong knowledge of data networking, VoIP and/or Unified Communications technologies.
Advanced familiarity with relational databases, Apache Derby, PostgreSQL or Microsoft.
Strong working knowledge of Java, JNI, SWING, Java compatibility techniques in conjunction with real-time transaction database systems are critical experiences.
Developing apps for network hardware (routers, switches, session border controllers, wireless devices, etc) preferred including knowledge of SIP, H.323, Audio/Video via RTP/RTCP and/or routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
Understanding the above protocols using packet capture tools such as Wireshark and familiarity with developing software for Linux and Windows.
Detailed working knowledge of the agile approach to software development.
