The person in this positions is in charge of supervising 4-6 associates working in the second shift.
The warehouse supervisor coordinates all warehouse activities on a daily basis. The warehouse supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the receiving, storage and shipping of products in a manner that is consistent with company services and cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
Establishes schedules ensuring that jobs are implemented and completed properly and
on time.
Supervises, coaches and disciplines associates.
Supervises checking and unloading of inbound shipments.
Verifies required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers ensuring that all products are properly counted.
Ensures that shipments are completed
accurately
and
free of damage
.
Assists in regular inventories and cycle counts.
Maintains a clean, neat and orderly and safe work area.
Acts as a liaison between employees and upper management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma and at least 2-4 years of experience in related field.
Good supervisory and communication skills.
Familiarity with computers and material handling equipment.
Strong decision making and coaching skills.
Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting strict deadlines with tight scheduling requirements.
Must be able to shift priorities easily.
Must have an excellent work ethic and complete drug and background checks.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
