Summary:
The Web Analytics Manager will develop the analytics strategy for the Online Sales & Marketing group, and utilized by the whole company Reporting directly to the Worldwide leader of Online Sales & Marketing, this role will recommend how to best analyze and optimize business results and user experience on the coporate websites and eCommerce storefront as well as in email campaigns and online advertisements.
He or she will create reports and dashboards on website conversion and eCommerce performance, which are automated and easily available. In addition this role provides actionable insights based on internal data analysis combined with market and competitive trends.
As a key member of the leadership team, this role this individual will play a pivotal role in optimizing the company's online sales and marketing activities to increase revenue and improve user experience.
Responsibilities:
Defines and supports the analytic needs of Online Sales & Marketing team.
Collects, analyzes and reports on data such as site traffic, user flows, page performance, website behavior, and customer experience.
Uses quantitative data gathered with software tools, traffic extracts, click-streams, and drill-downs to develop an understanding of visitor behavior and characteristics
Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations.
Develops, designs, and establishes reporting standards.
Works closely with other online marketing disciplines to implement new tracking and reporting specific to their needs.
Creates dashboards and presents findings to management and senior stakeholders company wide.
Develops tagging strategy and ensures accuracy of tracking and measurement.
Develops recommendations that improve conversions and customer engagements.
Keeps abreast of best practices in metrics and to assist with data collection and reporting.
Works closely with the website technology team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and to implement enhancements as needed.
Contributes to improvement in technical or business processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with coursework in mathematics and/or statistics required.
Relevant specialized or advanced degree preferred
5 years minimum experience and high level of expertise with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, etc.
Downloadable software industry and/or subscription business model experience preferred
Strong analytic, quantitative, and data interpretation skills
Ability to transform data into actionable insights
Experience writing and tuning SQL queries a plus
Understanding of SEM (Search Engine Marketing)/ PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies
Familiarity with multi-variant testing strategies and concepts
Proficient in Excel, Business Intelligence tools and click-stream analytics
Proven ability to develop strong collaborative working relationships across various work-groups (business, operational, technical)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong project management skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a cross functional team
Effective communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch priorities as needed
Understanding of the complex web ecosystems and best practices, and can apply this knowledge effectivelyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
