Software Systems Engineer

POSITION DUTIES:
Conduct field testing of customer and reference handsets. Provide applications support of modem and MMI software for Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM)/General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)/ Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) and 3G Mobile Handsets. Assist customers in all phases of mobile phone acceptance testing including debugging and correcting customer issues with handset software (MMI and Layer 1). Conduct pre-testing and official testing of handsets to achieve operator acceptance, and field testing of handsets. Manage relationships with customers at the technical/engineering level.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
6 months of experience in job offered or related occupation.
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience must include: cellular telephone protocol stack software; C+
programming; 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers; embedded systems development, IOT, handset qualification, mobile certification process (GCF or PTCRB), customer interface/support, development of mobile handsets. Experience and skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
