Summary:
The goal of hospice and palliative RN is to promote the patient's quality of life through the relief of suffering along the illness trajectory, through the death of the patient and into the bereavement period of the family.
This goal is enhanced by a competent level of practice as demonstrated by the Standards of Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Practice.
Receives and responds to telephone calls from the triage partner during assigned shifts and provides direct care to hospice, palliative care and certified home health patients as directed by the triage partner.
Experience:
Minimum of one year in an acute care setting or comparable work experience required.
Minimum of one year oncology and home care experience preferred.
Minimum of one year Hospice experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
