Manufacturing Quality Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Quality Supervisor to join our team.
In this supervisory position you will be accountable for the Inspection Team members and inspection throughput in a fast-paced Manufacturing Plant.
You will lead a team working collaboratively to meet customer and production quality and delivery expectations.
You will focus on World Class Inspection and Metrology standards, monitoring performance indicators, and ensuring adherence to Safety and Human Resources guidelines while fostering the development of your team and each individual team member.
Duties - Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures- Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control measures- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for process improvements- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards- Oversee the fabrication of products to ensure adherence to quality specifications- Train and educate employees on quality assurance processes and procedures- Investigate customer complaints or product issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary Requirements Lead and manage the direct workforce.
Serve as a role model by demonstrating a constant focus on improving customer satisfaction and operational performance.
Lead by example and establish a culture of excellence and accountability.
Establish and achieve weekly/monthly goals as measured by the following KPI.
o First Piece Inspection Reductiono Dock-to-stock (reduced inspection)o 6S Coordinate resources and equipment to support daily shipments, receiving, and in-process inspections.
Identify best inspection practices opportunities and implement them.
Identify hiring needs.
Participate in the interview process, new hire selection, and onboarding.
Responsible for cross-training, development, evaluation, performance management, and retention of inspection staff.
Sustain clean, organized inspection areas using 6S techniques Participate in the development of inspection methodology for customer prototypes to ensure successful manufacturing introductions.
Partner with quality engineering to ensure quality requirements for receiving, in-process, and final inspections are understood, adhered to, and fully implemented.
Drive CAPAs associated with inspection failures to ensure that any findings or non-conformances are addressed quickly.
Be an advocate for safety.
Insist on safe practices throughout the inspection areas.
Ensure that inspection operations are in compliance with all government regulations related to product safety, employee safety, and environmental standards including OSHA and EPA Responsible for managing the execution of all new and delta FAI s Responsible for pricing FAIs at Contract Review Responsible for training, supervising, and delegating FAI projects to the Company s Quality Administrator.
This supervisory responsibility is only for FAI-related tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to convey goals and needs to all associates in the context of product throughput and customer needs.
Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 Required Competencies Results-oriented with the drive necessary to continuously look for ways to improve the effectiveness of operations, processes, procedures, or services.
Willing to take the initiative needed and go beyond individual roles and functions to get things done.
Possesses the people skills necessary to connect and communicate with people at all levels within the organization.
