2K a year Quick Lube Manager/Express Maintenance Supervisor The Express Maintenance Supervisor/Quick Lube Manager performs basic maintenance and light repairs on Customer vehicles and supervises other Express Technician teams.
Primary goals are safe, efficient performance of all maintenance and repair tasks as defined in dealership processes and policies, as well as ensuring smooth workflow through the Express shop.
Duties Performs basic maintenance and light repairs on Customer vehicles when needed.
Conducts accurate multipoint inspections of Customer vehicles to identify needed maintenance services and repairs.
Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Ensures technicians are trained on proper inspection and service techniques and the steps of the two-technician process.
Coordinates work distribution through the Express shop to ensure Customer promise times are met.
Coordinates communication with ASMs for necessary ASRs Conducts quality control measures as necessary.
Skills & Knowledge Basic knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipment Strong Customer service focus Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability Strong verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some automotive technology courses preferred.
Experience Prior automotive maintenance experience preferred Proficiency with MS computer programs and knowledge of CDK and ASR/Xtime are a plus.
