Responsibilities:
Attend quarterly board meetings Contribute to company decision-making alongside the leadership team Use expertise in manufacturing operations and finance to bring a valuable perspective to the board and leadership team This person will have a high potential to become an Audit Committee Member, which would include the following
Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounting and financial reporting process of the company and the audits of the financial statements of the company Carry out responsibilities, including structure, processes and membership requirements related to audit Use understanding of financial statements and ability to assess the general application of GAAP in connection with the accounting for estimates, accruals and reserves Ensure the company's audit processes adhere to compliance and meet all necessary requirements Ensure the company has programs and policies in place to prevent and identify fraud and has the ability to take the appropriate steps when necessary if fraud is detected; use familiarity with areas of financial fraud, asset misappropriation and corruption to ensure a strong understanding of the company's obligations and responsibilities
Qualifications:
Previous experience serving as a CFO or Audit Committee Member of a public company (required) Experience in Manufacturing Operations or Technology companies (required) Active or Inactive CPA (preferred) Experience in hyper-growth startups (preferred) Expertise in HR (preferred) High-level understanding of US GAAP Experience preparing, auditing, analyzing or evaluating financial statements at a high level of complexity Experience doing extensive financial reporting for a public company Job Type:
