The hotel offers approximately 8,200 feet of meetings space.
The Group Sales Manager will generate group revenue for the Crowne Plaza Boston Woburn by acquiring and developing new, referred and repeat group business.
They will be involved in setting and executing strategic sales plans related to their territory and expected to optimize overall revenues through direct sales on behalf of the hotel.
This mid-market seller is tasked with the acquisition of groups ranging between 75-199 guest rooms on peak.

Corporate Group Sales Manager Job Description Develop, actively solicit, and generate group business per defined territory.
Responsible to assigned booking & event goals.
Respond to inquiries, walk ins, and inbound sales calls in a timely manner.
Prepare all Property Sales Proposals, Contracts, Group Resumes, BEO's, and Reservation Links.
Contribute and work as a team member in all facets of the position.
Meets with and maintains rapport with individuals and contacts to produce Food and Beverage Sales.
Meet or exceed weekly sales goals, targets, and initiatives.
Identify and qualify potential prospects through participating in a variety of tactics, including, tradeshows, sales blitzes, and other sales initiatives.
Maximize outcome of all sales initiatives by following up on leads, following up with existing clients to identify additional business opportunities and managing accounts Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures, sales policies and procedures (including generating and completing all necessary forms, and correspondence) Maintain a complete database of accounts in defined territory Properly convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize and protect overall resort revenue yields Work closely with all departments to ensure that all details are communicated to ensure a successful meeting experience Perform in a manner that demonstrates IHG Hotels culture and Brand Standards in a professional manner to associates, clients and prospects Maintain relationships with customers, the global sales team and trade and industry groups oPromote the IHG brand and offer information regarding the company and other properties to clients to generate addition sales opportunities for the organization Perform other tasks as needed or directed to ensure effective hotel operations
Qualifications:
Five years or more related experience in group sales at a full-service hotel College degree or equivalent experience Experience in every aspect of sales from planning and active solicitation to site I inspections and contract negotiations Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Experience with brand sales systems; Delphi and Opera experience preferred.
Must be proficient in MS, Excel, and Teams Ability to read, analyze and interpret hotel specific reports.
Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from clients, managers and the general public.
